Is Your Child's Future at Risk by Ignoring AI?
By Admin User | October 27, 2026 | 4 min read
In short: AI is already in the tools your child's school, tuition centre and future workplace use. The risk is not that children meet AI — it is that they only ever meet it as users, tapping answers on a screen, and never as builders who can make the tool do what they want. That difference — user or builder — is what will decide who takes the good work of the next decade. That gap is closed with practice, and it can start at home this month.
What this article answers
- Why AI is not a subject to add later, and what changes for a child who learns it now.
- The four things a parent can do this month, without buying a course.
- What a structured programme adds when your child is ready for one: our own seven-platform AI ecosystem, live projects a real business needs, an agentic AI and automation focus, 30 million AI usage tokens each, 250+ videos with lifetime access and a 7-day money-back window.
- The questions parents ask us most: age, screen safety, coding background, the certificate and the fee — and where teens (15–20), working professionals and career-switchers fit in.
Four things you can start this week
- Give them one tool and one job. Let your child use AI for a task they already care about — planning a birthday, writing a story with pictures, making a quiz for the family.
- Ask what they built, not what they typed. The habit you want is making, not chatting.
- Teach one checking move. Ask the AI where its answer came from, then check one fact yourself. Trust, then verify — a habit that will steady them long after the class ends.
- Move from talking to building. A small project — a quiz app, a poster, a simple assistant for the household — turns a user into a maker.
When a course makes sense
A course is worth the money when your child has already shown interest and you want structure, a mentor, and a finished project to show. At Bheem Academy, children start with Junior AI Basics and move to Junior AI Mastery; the kids' track is built for ages 8–14; every programme includes 30 million AI usage tokens per student (one million a day), an IBM-recognised certificate, and 250+ recorded videos with lifetime access and a 7-day money-back window.
Questions parents ask us
At what age can a child start learning AI?
From about 8, with guidance. Our kids' programmes are built for ages 8–14. Younger children do better with a parent beside them; from around 11 they can work more independently.
Is AI safe for a child to use?
Not unsupervised, and not on every tool. A child needs an adult nearby, one tool at a time, and clear rules about what they share. In our kids' classes, learners work inside our own platform with a mentor in the room and a set daily token allowance.
Does my child need to know coding first?
No. They start with plain English instructions, then learn to read and fix what the AI produces. Coding comes later, and it comes more easily once they understand what the machine is doing.
Do children get a certificate?
Every Academy programme includes an IBM-recognised certificate, and the project your child built is the part that shows what they can actually do.
Can I see the fee and the next batch date?
Fees differ by programme and batch. Call +91 79947 32004 / 32006 or write to enquiry@bheem.academy and we will send the fee, the next start date and the payment options — tell us the learner's age and we will point you to the right programme, kids or adults, in Kochi or online.
