The short answer: in Kochi in 2026, a short AI certification course from a private institute is advertised at about ₹31,500 to ₹35,000, a Government of Kerala AI/ML course at ₹35,000 for 540 hours, and longer career programmes from ₹20,000 to ₹3,00,000, depending on how many months you get and whether placement help sits inside the fee. Bheem Academy prices each track as one band, with instalment options, and sends the current fee sheet and the next batch date in one WhatsApp message before you pay.
What AI courses in Kochi and Kerala publish today
These are other institutes' own published figures, read on 21 October 2026. They change with every batch, so confirm the number on the institute's page before you use it.
| Who publishes it | What the course is | Published fee |
|---|
| ASAP Kerala (Government of Kerala) | AI / ML developer course, 540 hours, online, with a project and internship | ₹35,000 |
| Luminar Technolab, Kochi | Certification course in AI, as listed in a course-directory fee table | ₹31,500 |
| Shift to Tech, Kochi | Live AI course: Python, ML, GenAI, MLOps, small batches | ₹35,000 |
| DataMites | Career programmes in AI and data science, band on its own city page | ₹20,000 – ₹2,50,000 |
| PW Skills | Professional AI programmes (its free and entry courses sit below ₹5,000) | ₹25,000 – ₹3,00,000 |
| AI and robotics colleges in Kerala (Shiksha listing) | Four-year degree, median total tuition | ₹2.42 lakh |
The spread is wide because these are different products, not the same product at different prices. A 540-hour government course, a three-month tool course, a six-month programme built on live business projects and a four-year degree are four different purchases. Compare the thing you are buying, not the biggest number on the page.
There is a second thing this table cannot tell you: whether AI usage is metered and billed on top, whether GST is inside the figure, whether the certificate costs extra, and what happens if you ask for your money back in week one. Those four questions decide what you actually pay.
What Bheem Academy's fee covers
Every track at the Academy, from the children's programmes to the AI Engineer tracks, includes the same core:
- 30 million AI usage tokens per student, 1 million a day. Model use during the course is inside the fee. You are not watching a meter while you practise.
- 250+ videos with lifetime access. Lessons stay available after the batch ends, so a missed class is not a lost class.
- Live real-business projects. The work is a real problem for a real business, reviewed by the people who teach. That is the part of the fee that buys you something you can show an employer.
- A certificate on completion. Ask which body issues it and how an employer verifies it. We put that in writing with the fee sheet rather than leave it to a brochure.
- A 7-day money-back option. If the first week is wrong for you, you can ask for your money back.
- Seven AI platforms in one ecosystem. Learning, projects, portfolio, certificate and community run inside the Academy's own tools instead of five disconnected subscriptions you pay for separately.
The tracks are priced separately, because they are built for different people:
- Children, ages 8 to 14: Junior AI Basics and Junior AI Mastery.
- Youth, ages 15 to 20: the six-month Bheem Kodee programme in three tracks — Agentic Builder, Agentic Promoter and Agentic DevOps Manager.
- Working professionals, teachers, lawyers and NRIs: AI for Teachers, AI for Lawyers, AI Professionals and AI GUP for NRIs.
- AI Engineer tracks: AI Engineer Launch Pad, AI Engineer Mastery and Agentic AI Expert.
All of it runs from Vyttila, Kochi, with online access for students outside the city.
Six things every fee quote in Kerala should tell you
A monthly figure on its own is not a price. It is a payment plan. Before you compare two quotes, make both answer these six:
- Mentor hours, not class hours. A hundred hours of recorded lectures and a hundred hours with someone who reviews your work are not the same product. Ask how many hours a week you get with a mentor, and what that mentor has shipped.
- Tools and AI usage. Agentic AI work runs on paid models. Ask whether that is inside the fee or billed to you monthly, and roughly how much per month.
- GST, in or out. "₹35,000" and "₹35,000 plus GST" are different numbers. Make the quote say which.
- The certificate. Some programmes charge separately for the certification attempt. Ask whether the certificate you are being shown is inside the fee.
- Instalments. How many, on what dates, what each one costs extra, and the total you will have paid by the last one.
- Placement help, in writing. "Placement assistance" can mean a WhatsApp group or interview scheduling for a fixed period. Ask which, who runs it, and for how long after the course ends.
A quote that answers all six is a price. A quote that answers none is a sales call.
Why we send our band instead of printing it here
Our fee changes with the batch and with the instalment plan you choose. A number left on a page for eight months is how an academy ends up explaining a price it no longer charges, and how a family ends up budgeting for the wrong figure.
So the sheet is sent, in writing, before you pay: the band for the track you are joining, the instalment options with the processing fee, the next batch date, and what the certificate is. One WhatsApp message gets all four. If the number is wrong for your budget, you find out in a minute instead of after a visit to the centre.
Cheap and expensive are the wrong question
Three comparisons tell you more than a rupee-to-rupee comparison between two academies:
- Fee against mentor hours. Divide the total fee by the hours you will spend with someone who reviews your work. That number compares programmes honestly. The headline fee does not.
- Fee against months of practice. Six months of building beats six weekends of watching at almost any price, because what you are buying is repetition on real problems.
- Who teaches. Ask what the teaching team builds and sells. The Academy sits inside a company that runs seven AI products of its own, so the people teaching agentic AI use it to ship software, not to fill slides.
The instalment question, asked properly
EMI is where fee conversations go wrong, because the monthly number is the one everyone remembers. Ask five things:
- How many instalments, and on what dates?
- Is there a processing fee or interest, and how much in rupees?
- Who runs the plan: the institute, or a finance partner who checks your credit?
- What is the total payable by the last instalment?
- If you stop in week one, does the money-back option still hold on an instalment plan?
Get the answers in writing. Any academy that runs a clean EMI plan will put them in a message without hesitation.
Five things to get in writing before you pay anyone
- The total payable, including GST, tools and the certificate.
- The batch start date and how many hours a week the classes run.
- The refund terms, including the 7-day window if the institute offers one.
- The certificate's exact name and the body that issues it.
- One finished project from a past student of the same track, to look at before you decide.
If an institute will not put these five in writing, that is your answer.
Questions people ask about AI course fees
What is the fee for an AI course in Kochi?
In 2026 the published market runs from about ₹31,500 to ₹35,000 for a short certification or a 540-hour government-linked course, and ₹20,000 to ₹3,00,000 for longer career programmes. Bheem Academy sends its own band per track, with instalments, before you pay.
Is Bheem Academy's fee printed on this page?
Not as a fixed number, because it changes with each batch and with the instalment plan. The current sheet goes out in writing with the batch date, and you can have it in one message.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. The Academy runs EMI plans. Ask for the number of instalments, the processing fee, and the total payable by the last instalment, not only the monthly figure.
Does AI usage cost extra on top of the fee?
No. Every student gets 30 million AI usage tokens, 1 million a day, inside the fee, so practice is not metered.
Is there a scholarship or an early-bird price?
The Academy runs early-bird discounts and scholarships. Ask which one applies to your batch, and get the amount in writing before you pay.
What if the course is not right for me?
There is a 7-day money-back option. Ask for the refund terms in writing at enrolment.
Next step
Send the word FEE SHEET on WhatsApp to +91 79947 82005. You get the band for your track, the instalment options, the next batch date and the certificate details in one reply. Or walk into the Academy in Vyttila, Kochi, and ask the same four questions at the desk.
Fee figures for other institutes were read on 21 October 2026 from the pages named in the table above and change without notice. Bheem Academy's own figures are sent in writing with the batch date and are the only ones we stand behind.
